The Civil Service Commission celebrates the 2015 Women’s Month this March. As the premiere human resource institution of the Philippine government, the CSC’s vision is to become Asia’s leading center of excellence for strategic human resource and organizational development by 2030. To do this, the CSC must mold a gender responsive government. This entails making HR systems attuned to the needs of women and men, and creating a work environment that is free from gender-based bias, discrimination, or violence.

CSC’s mission is to make every kawani lingkod bayani (servant-hero). A government workforce should be competent and credible, and this includes being gender sensitive.

This March, the CSC joins the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and other government agencies nationwide in championing women’s rights and advocating for their leadership role in government.
